“I found your Words and ate them”

Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts. Jeremiah 15:16.

What really enters your mouth, determines the joy or smile on your face.

When you put sugar in your mouth, your face appear joyfully because it taste sweet, but when something bitter leaves enters the same mouth, your face begins to change. Why?, because its taste is bitter.

In the same way, the Word of God is as sweet as any other thing in the world and it is what can bring you joy in your heart and in your life.

Jeremiah said, I found your words and I ate them. What have you also found and ate the whole day? Is it just bread and butter??

The bible says man shall not live by bread alone, but every word that proceeded out from the mouth of God. Am not saying you shouldn’t eat, but there is nothing that is more important than the word of God.

People have time to embrace foolishness and material things that comes to nothing. We have more time for the clay than the soul.

The clay will go back to the clay but the soul is what will face judgement. So why don’t you find joy and peace for the soul.

Seek the word of God and eat it, and I can assure you, it will bring joy and happiness to your soul, not just now but forever.
